Elk River Harmonicas

The Elk Antebellums are a hobby of mine. These are actual
prewar harmonicas that have been returned to playing
condition.
These aren't necessarily what you'd call a full custom
harmonica, the reeds aren't arced, usually the reedslots
aren't embossed, etc.
They are however, fully cleaned, disinfected with alcohol,
and restored to playing condition and each wood comb is
sealed. The sealing is important for two reasons, first, it
prevents moisture from soaking in and swelling the wood,
but it also seals whatever particile might have been in the
wood so you never come into contact with it.

For Sale:
Actual Prewar Harmonicas
These are actual prewar harmonicas that I have picked up on
Ebay and elsewhere. All these, I'm sure were used at some
point, but I boil the reedplates to disinfect, sand the combs
clean, then coat the wood with salad bowl finish. I clean
everything with alcohol when I'm done. The reeds are stock,
but the Antebellums offer a sealed comb and are clean. These
harmonicas be anywhere from 80 to 100 years old, so I can't
really give a specific warranty, but they are in good shape.

Magnus Accordion, 1950s?, Made
in USA $25.
The Magnus
Harmonica
Corporation was
founded in 1944 in
Linden, New Jersey.
The company
specialized in making
tabletop organs for
children and remained
in business until the
1970s.
Finn Magnus probably
has more harmonica
patents than anyone
on earth.
Color temperature is
correct in top photo

It works well. I
couldn't find any leaks
in the bellows. The
only thing missing
apparently, is the
strap on the back for
the left hand.
