Chromatic DeLuxe
The Chromatic DeLuxe was one of my first Seydels
and I instantly fell in love with it. It is airtight and
has a unique tone. You can also take it apart to
work on it because it's fitted with screws instead of
nails.

The slide is very easy to work and it is a very sharp
looking instrument. It's also available in many keys
and tunings. It's usually hard to find chromatics in
anything but a solo-tuned C.

Tips:

Always warm your chromatic up in
your hands before playing. This
keeps moisture from condensating
inside, thus preventing the
annoying buzzing of sticking
windsavers.

Don't push the slide in too hard.
Use only enough pressure to make
the slide travel, too much will
damage the slide.

Chromatic Standard

This one is real popular with folks up north, anywhere the
climate is hard on windsavers. This chromatic has no
windsavers, and, as a result, has some air leakage. But,
you won't have any windsaver problems - that's the point
with this model. It works well in the coldest of winters.
Plastic mouthpiece and comb, round holes, available in
10-hole and 12- hole models.

Chromatic Standard 48 (12-hole) $52.95
Chromatic Standard 40 (10-hole) $45.95
