I was fortunate to edit the edit the English-language version of
the multi-media program and book for Seydel (so I got a good
look at it several months before it was released) and knew right
away that it would be a success. What I didn't know was that they
would put it with such an attractive package of materials, an
audio CD, instruction book and a Seydel Session harmonica. The
CD includes some jam tracks from the Marble Tones (see jam
tracks CD below for more info).
Many instructional materials that include a harmonica, usually
offer a poorly-made Chinese harmonica. The instrument included
here is of superior quality and handmade in Germany. It alone
retails for $28, so you are getting the CD, book and multimedia
program for only $11 extra!
The Multimedia program explains one of the most difficult
lessons, how to bend a note, with animation. You can actually see
what is happening inside your throat and mouth to make those
bends!
