 Around 1980, Greg Payne gave his four-year-old son a harmonica to keep him occupied while he was home sick from school. That's where David's love affair with the harmonica began and it continues today. A fourth-generation musician, he founded Elk River Harmonicas in 2007 and has worked as client relations manager for Harrison Harmonicas.
